Jikaiah Ayla Global Educator, Platform Artist, Master Hairstylist, & Creative Art Director NYC │SF │LA Jikaiah is a passionate person when it comes to teaching and performing her craft globally. She is personally driven by her feminist views about beauty, her desire to expand the limited mindset around hair, and its available methods around education. Inclusiveness around all hair types and textures from fine and thin to coarse and thick, from straight to curly. With all of these passions and 20 years behind the chair, she brings a unique style to the industry. Coming to NYC from San Francisco's famed Edo Salon & Gallery. (Known best for bringing the Shag haircut and razored bobs into style.) She trained under the famed owner Jayne Matthews with numerous hands-on classes while working there Creating hair that has a high style impact but that also is effortless and easy, with most of her clients raving about how they only need a cut 2-3 times a year and how great they look rolling straight out of bed is her signature stamp! I'm all about freeing and releasing the hair. I want my clients' natural waves and textures to come to lifeBusiness Hours
